Doesn't boiling linens, clothes etc. in soapy water this way set the stains especially after ripening them in cold water? Of score l noticed you put the linens in first before you heated the water not after the water was boiling. Is that what set stains putting linens in boiling soapy water instead of putting them in water and heating it to a boil?

What amazing joinery. They are a treasure to find such cabinetry that stood the test of time, and now lovingly revive the care and restoration for a well made kitchen.

🔷 The initial two mantels are stunning as are the medallions scattered about on various ceilings. The scale of some of the rooms is magnificent and I would die to have that much room in which to wander around. The fountain ⛲ is beautiful. 🔷

. Lol, it's so sad but I've seen so many of those from that era overtaken by the ghetto and they usually make huge crack houses before the order comes to demolish them. Detroit is full of crumbled Victoria's but no work crew nor new owner in their right mind wishes to touch them. I don't know anything about Arkansas, I really hope that one does well.

I visited in the mid 90’s! I remember the portraits !! My sister in law and I did a tour in the Spring! We had a wonderful time, but we’ve never been back!! Mammoth was not a restaurant then!!

I am ALWAYS so impressed with the narration, video graphics and music for the tour. I told my husband I would love to go to Natchez. Stay at a bed and breakfast. Tour the homes. Sadly, no time. This is very excellent substitute. Probably BETTER. THANK YOU

I love the house in general, but I would have to remove all the colored sinks and toilets in the bathrooms, as well as all the bars from the windows & doors. And I agree that the kitchen would have to be gutted.
